Women and Work Skills Coaching

The Women and Work Programme aims to raise skills levels, increase learning potential and aid career progression for women in the agricultural sector in England. The Skills Coach supports training choices to optimise development, application and evidence submission.

Who qualifies for Women and Work funding?

You are able to benefit from the Women and Work Skills Programme if you are a woman working, self employed or volunteering for an organisation within one of the following industries:
  • Agriculture
  • Aquaculture
  • Environmental conservation
  • Farriery
  • Fencing
  • Fisheries management
  • Game and wildlife
  • Horticulture, landscaping and sports turf
  • Production horticulture
  • Land-based engineering
  • Trees and timber engineering

What are the benefits?

The Skills Coach supports the empowerment and motivation of women to progress in their careers where they are under-represented within eligible industries.
